You know you're a writer when...

You know you're a writer when you receive a clothing catalog and immediately scan the models' faces to see if they match a character in your wip instead of looking at the clothes.

I prefer studying the faces who pass through my Target check lane. Once in a while I see one of my characters, or a face begging to become one of my characters, and I get excited. Models on TV and in catalogs seem only two-dimensional. Truthfully, I don't much like to use pretty characters, unless I need a pretty face to make it work.
